With over 20 years of experience, Leigh Taylor White is a highly skilled divorce attorney in Memphis, Tennessee who is adept at navigating the complexities of family law matters. She focuses her practice on litigation and mediation of divorce cases, child custody, parenting plans, alimony, child support, child relocation, adoption, dependency and neglect, and international child custody disputes. Leigh Taylor has extensive experience in asset protection in family law, including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, business valuations, and forensic accounting. Leigh Taylor practices in Tennessee and Mississippi with a focus on Memphis-Shelby County in Tennessee and DeSoto, Tate, Panola, Lafayette, and Marshall counties in Mississippi. Leigh Taylor is a native of Batesville, Mississippi. She attended Rhodes College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2002. Leigh Taylor returned to Mississippi to attend the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 2005. Following law school, Leigh Taylor clerked for the Honorable David M. Ishee during his tenure with the Mississippi Court of Appeals.


Service to the community is one of Leigh Taylor’s core values. She volunteers for Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc., the Community Legal Center, and has served on the Wellness Committee of the Memphis Bar Association. She also served on the Board of Directors for Mind What Matters, a nonprofit supporting family caregivers of memory diseases and spreading brain health awareness, the Board of Directors for the University of Mississippi School of Law Alumni Chapter, and as an elder at Idlewild Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee. Leigh Taylor regularly presents in continuing legal education programs focused on a variety of family law and litigation matters.


When she is not in the office, Leigh Taylor enjoys running, reading, and traveling, especially with her husband and their two children.
